Developed ByKnowledge Avatar is a term coined by and a concept developed by Emiliano De Laurentiis, a pioneer in interactive education. He developed the first adaptive authoring system, called SOCRATES, in the early 80s. He developed one of the first interactive educational Web sites, Lifelong.com. Lifelong.com, by 1999, was receiving close to one million hits a month and served thousands of students every day. Knowledge Avatars are Emiliano's most recent interactive educational model - combining great teaching and expert knowledge in an interactive online virtual expert.
